Desiderando visitare l’Uzbekistan da molti anni, ho contattato diverse agenzie locali e la scelta è caduta su ANUR tour. Ho proposto loro un itinerario di 12 giorni che avevo ben chiaro in testa ed è stato organizzato molto bene. Con un rapporto qualità prezzo a mio avviso molto buono. Viaggiando con altre sei persone, siamo poi riusciti a ottenere un ottimo prezzo per i voli diurni da Turkish Airlines . Abbiamo avuto una guida in italiano fissa per l’intero tour, gentilissima e competente. Gli autisti si sono rivelati tutti cortesi puntuali e validi. I treni afrosyab perfetti. Gli alberghi, di categoria standard, sono stati tutti validi e caratterizzati da una pulizia estrema. Le cene incluse si sono svolte in ristoranti molto belli e il cibo è sempre stato di buona qualità. Insomma è andato tutto molto bene. Il paese è magnifico, la popolazione calorosa e accogliente, ma affrettatevi perché il turismo di massa lo sta snaturando. Un consiglio: se potete alzatevi molto presto e visitate i siti quando non sono invasi dai turisti

Great one day trip to Chimgan

We booked the one day tour to Chimgan Mountains. It was easy to contact them via Whatsapp and make reservations. The price was reasonable and they accept both USD and local currency. The driver arrived on time and the tour went as per plan. The driver was very courteous and knew reasonable English. The car was in excellent condition. The driver drove safely and stopped wherever we wanted. He also took us to a great local restaurant (with vegetarian options).

My only minor complaint is that I wish they had sent a reconfirmation message one day before the trip so that I could be sure the driver would arrive on time.

"I was amazed at how perfectly everything was organized. The driver arrived in a luxurious van with air conditioning and even opened the doors, making you feel like royalty! The train to Samarkand impressed with its modernity and excellent service. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a driver and a guide, Askar, a wonderfully pleasant person with a wealth of knowledge, who narrated everything with captivating interest. His explanations were precise and fascinating! This tour felt like a journey into a fairy tale! Everything was top-notch, and the guide was simply delightful."

Anur Tour definitely deserves to be on the top. I requested to book a tour the last minute during the hot busy summer season. Someone from the company name Zukhra contacted me and did an excellent job! Not only she just offered me a tour, she tailored it for me around my preferences and what I wanted to see. She was very accommodating and responded quickly to my questions. Her communication with me was above and beyond. Even though the time difference for us was 12 hours, she didn’t mind to work and respond to me at 10pm her time! She booked a two day trip for me to see the jewels historic sites of Tashkent and Samarqand. Both tour guides in Tashkent and Samarqand were excellent! I praise this travel tour agent and the tour guides for their willingness to make my trip to be a special one. Highly recommend Anur Tour!

Beautiful country but trip management must be improved

Una nazione piena di bellezze uniche.
Ad ogni modo, vorremmo condividere alcuni punti che non ci hanno permesso di godere appieno della vacanza anche come spunto per il futuro per migliorare:
• “Colazione nel campo di yurta” – Non c’e mai stata una yurta. Come mai? Abbiamo dormito in delle normali stanze invece di provare l’esperienza di dormire in un posto unico come poteva essere la yurta. Abbiamo deciso di includere questa giornata nel nostro viaggio proprio per questo;
• “Nel pomeriggio passeggiata nel villaggio e incontro con la popolazione locale per scoprire il loro modo di vivere” – Non abbiamo mai fatto la passeggiata per il Villaggio ma solo il trekking. Nessuno della famiglia ci ha veramente accolto con caloro, spiegandoci il modo in cui vivono, come passano le loro giornate. Abbiamo avuto la sensazione di essere in un semplice B&B;
• “Pranzo con la famiglia locale” – Abbiamo mangiato sempre soli tutti e tre (e con la guida che non parlava inglese e quindi era fuori da ogni potenziale discorso), senza alcuna interazione con la famiglia che ci ospitava. Avevamo optato per il Villaggio per vivere un’esperienza diversa perchè se avessimo voluto pranzare/cenare da soli, avremmo optato per un ristorante;
• Pranzo e cena nel Villaggio erano incluse. Nessuno ci aveva avvisato che le bibite erano escluse. Prima di lasciare il Villaggio, la famiglia ci ha chiesto di pagare per l’acqua e le coca-cole consumate. Non è un problema ma sarebbe stato opportuno essere più trasparenti invece di scoprire volta per volta;
• Tutte le guide (No eccezioni) chiedevano a noi il programma quando a noi non ci è mai stato condiviso il piano di dettaglio. A samarcanda è stata l’esperienza peggiore dove la guida non aveva nemmeno i vouchers;
• Le guide sono sempre state solo di mezze giornate: dal sommario condiviso questo non era chiaro e abbiamo avuto molto più tempo libero da quello dichiaratamente scritto nel programma
• Da piano condiviso, la gran moschea di Kalon non era inclusa nel programma. Dal momento che volevamo visitarla abbiamo pagato l’ingresso per poi scoprire il giorno dopo che era inclusa;
• “Prima di arrivare a Bukhara, sosta per ammirare il bellissimo panorama del deserto Kyzyl Kum,il deserto rosso, e le rive del fiume Amu Darya” – Menzionata nel “piano di viaggio” ma non l’abbiamo mai fatta.

I booked this tour a month ahead via Telegram. Email replies did not work as expected.

Overall, my husband and I had a very pleasant experience. The train tickets were purchased for us by this agency. My only suggestion for anyone out there booking this kind of trips is to double check and confirm with your agent is that the train type is called Afrosiyob. This train option is the only nonstop direct option from Tashklent to Samarkand and vice versa.

Afrosiyob train ride was also very pleasant, clean and provided a top notch service. This has exceeded my expectation. My mistake when booking the train ride back was to agree to ride Shark train. That added almost 2 hours to our ride back, but good thing we noticed this before our departure.

The tour itself was very well planned. I learnt a lot in terms of history, architecture, culture and design of Samarkand. We asked for an English speaking guide, and our tour guide Maftuna was amazing. She was very professional, knowledgeable and fun to spend our time with.

We had a personal driver picking us up in Tashkent and in Samarkand. They had Anur Tour signs displayed all three times someone had to pick us up, so there was no confusion as to who our driver was.

Another caveat to this trip is that credit cards were not accepted, so I had to show up at the agency a day ahead and withdraw some cash in order to pay for this trip. Not a huge deal, but paying using Visa would've been more convenient for me.

An amazing experience of visiting this part of the world. I was travelling for a whole month and there wasn't a single glitch.

I asked for Anur tours to put together a package for flights I had booked. Elina was amazingly efficient and responsive. She created the perfect tour for me based on my requirements for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. I had drivers right from when I landed at the airport all the way through. The guides were all very experienced and looked after me fit the whole way through the trip. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.
If you do Kyrgyzstan, as for Nika and Stas if you can. They were the best!
Thank you for dotting every I and crossing every T. I had a fantastic time.

Amazing experience in Uzbekistan and Kyrgysztan

After 5 years of trying to visit Uzbekistan we were finally able to travel to that beautiful country last month. Anur Tours is an excellent company and our tour operator, Elina, was amazing. We told her where we wanted to go and she organised every detail of our trip. She also suggested some places for us to visit which were really good. Elina was very flexible, responsive and patient to all of our questions. The journey went smoothly and the guides and drivers were really good. We recommend especially Ilyas in Kyrgysztan and Timur in Samarkand.
After searching many other tours companies I concluded that Anur Tours is the most affordable one if you contact them directly.

So worth it!
